If you've been a founder, you know failure is part of the journey. You probably also know that it's one of the most critical pieces of success. Join WeWork Manhattan Laundry and Model B for an evening of Founder's Failings: an event series where we learn from each other's mistakes, create an open forum of ideas, and, of course, enjoy plenty of free drinks.
Here's how it works: We'll invite a guest founder (or two) to take the stage and present a major challenge they're currently facing. Then, we'll turn the tables to you to start the open dialogue. We'll workshop solutions based on the room's past experiences, similar failings, or just plain gut instinct. So come join us, appreciate the failure of others, and maybe even learn a thing or two.
At our first event, one of our guest founders was Grant Elliott, the founder & CEO of Ostendio, Inc. Stay tuned for this event's guests -- our topic will be "Friends, Families, and Founders, Oh My," where we explore together the pitfalls (and benefits) of being a young founder working with friends and family.
Now that we've got you really hooked -- do you have a burning question and would you like to be featured in one of our upcoming Founder's Failings events? Save your sales pitch and/or your elevator speech and email your challenge to hello@modelb.com. We'll see you soon!
